The advance in veterinary medicine means we are now able to provide a very high level of treatment to many sick and injured patients. However the effect of this is that some fees can be large or ongoing and for this reason we recommend owners take our veterinary insurance policies. This allows us to carry out the best treatments available without you worrying about the cost.
There are many good policies available and we can give you advice and information about choosing policies (although we are not allowed to recommend one company over another.) In most cases you are better shopping around to choose a policy that suits your needs.
Alternatively pets that are signed up to our Pet Health Plans have the option, for a small monthly payment of £2.75, of taking out our accidental injury cover. This is not a full insurance policy but cover accidents and the associated treatment costs upto a value of £5000 a year. It represents very good value for money compared to normal insurance cover.
